The Interface Bar, also the Main Menu Bar,^[1] is the UI bar at the bottom of the screen for command shortcuts and the experience bar. Prior to patch 8.0.1, it also contained the micro menu and bag slots.

In this video, we take a look at a few addons that can help style up your XP bar, or just provide you with more options over the default bar. I use the Twitc. I returned to WoW last week, excited to play again, and had just finished up with Voldun. I had started questing in Zuldazar after coming home from work the next day, but I noticed that my experience bar was gone. Turning off the numbers of your xp bar and blocking quest track:XP on:'/console xpBarText 1'XP off: '/console xpBarText 0'Quest Track on/off: /run if Object. The mod doing the lightweight bar is FuXPfu or something like that. I found disabling it, re-enableing it, then clicking on the 'show rep bar' from it's menu on fubar fixed it. I've also been kind of anal about making sure my addons are the newest version, because of all the changes Fubar and Cartographer have been going through. Hope this helps. Trivia

• The file name for the gryphon appearing on the bar is UI-MainMenuBar-EndCap-Dwarf.blp. Likewise, the unused lion art is named UI-MainMenuBar-EndCap-Human.blp.
  • This could indicate that the user interface were originally planned to be race-specific, like in Warcraft III.

The Experience Bar shows your current experience point total and how much you need to reach next level.^[1]

This bar can also be used to track a reputation by checking 'Show as Experience Bar', the amount of Artifact Power on the current Artifact weapon or the Heart of Azeroth, if equipped.

Rest Marker

The Rest Marker shows your rest state. In rested state, you earn 200 percent of experience from kills. In normal state, you earn 100 percent of experience. Rest state does not affect quest or exploration experience.^[2]
